Accountability & Assessment

The office of accountability and assessment seeks to monitor student progress and provide stakeholders with accurate and timely reports about student, campus, and district performance.
*If you are a school district needing a student transfer within the Texas Assessment Management System, please contact Sarah Miller at 254-857-8925. You may also email her your contact information by emailing [email protected].

Accountability Ratings

Texas provides annual academic accountability ratings to its public school districts, charters and schools. The ratings examine student achievement, student progress, efforts to close the achievement gap and postsecondary readiness.
For more information, including district and campus comparisons, visit TXSchools.gov or view this accountability manual. Click here to view most recent the Lorena ISD A-F Brochure.*
In addition to these, the Texas Education Agency also provides information via the Texas Performance Rating System (TPRS) online. Those reports can be found here.
* Accountability Ratings and School Report Cards for the 22-23 school year have not been released. These are the 21-22 ratings.
**Due to the K-2 designation, Lorena Primary ratings and reports are often combined with Lorena Elementary or missing assessment data.

District & Campus Plans

Lorena ISD strives to improve our district and each campus to meet the high standards our students and community deserve. Each year, formal district and campus improvement plans are written and submitted to the Texas Education Agency.
