Pack of Hope Volunteering

Early Wednesday morning, January 24, 2018, area superintendents from Central Texas gathered at the Waco ISD Child Nutrition Warehouse to help pack over 1,100 bags of food for local students. Superintendents from participating districts packed a week’s supply of food for their students who participate in the Pack of Hope program which works to erase child hunger in McLennan County. The food is provided for eligible students to ensure they have access to healthy food from Friday to Sunday when they are not in school. The bags are distributed on Fridays through an anonymous backpack system.
