Lorena ISD Athletic Director/Head Football Coach Kevin Johnson will take on a new role in the district. Johnson will become LISD’s Director of Human Resources at the end of the school year. Johnson has been the district’s Athletic Director/Head Football coach since 2023. Before that Johnson was the Principal at Lorena High School from 2012 - 2023.

Jeff Pevehouse has been named Lorena ISD’s Athletic Director/Head Football Coach. Pevehouse has been a part of the Leopard athletic program since 2023 serving as the football team’s offensive coordinator. He has been the Head Boys Track coach the last two seasons and was an Assistant Powerlifting coach during the 2023-2024 school year.

Johnson and Pevehouse are both familiar with the culture, and tradition of excellence in Lorena ISD which will benefit our students and staff, and help provide for an effective transition to new positions.
