The LHS Robotics team qualified for the Texas BEST/UIL Robotics State Championships after finishing second overall at the Temple High School BEST Robotics event. The team also won the Best Software and Design Simulation Award, Website Challenge Award, Founders Award for Creative Design, and placed third in Robot Competition Rounds.

The Texas BEST/UIL Robotics State Championships will be held December 11-13 at Fair Park in Dallas.
