Senior RB/LB Braylon Henry has been named the Class 3A Built Ford Tough Texas High School Football Player of the Week for week nine. He is the second player in program history to win the award.
Henry rushed for 255 yards and five touchdowns in the Leopards’ 52-49 win over two-time defending state champion Franklin.
Henry has made big contributions on both sides of the ball this season helping the Leopards roll to a 5-0 district record and a 7-2 mark for the season. He has rushed for 1,512 yards and 20 touchdowns. Henry has also caught five passes for 152 yards and a touchdown, and thrown a touchdows pass. Defensively Henry has recorded 30 tackles, two tackles for loss, two quarterback hurries, one interception and one fumble recovery.
Henry is now eligible for the Built Ford Tough Texas High School Football Player of the Year award.
