Lorena ISD is in the process of creating a Facility Planning Committee. The purpose of this committee will be to create a long range master plan for facilities in Lorena ISD. We are looking for faculty and staff as well as citizens who would be willing to serve on this committee and make recommendations to the board of trustees of Lorena ISD.
We are asking potential committee members to serve a two year term. Our Fall meeting schedule is below. Each meeting will be approximately 1-2 hours in length and the committee will be touring the host facility and learning about the ongoing and future facility needs of Lorena ISD. Attendance at these meetings will be essential to identifying critical facility needs and developing a master facility plan.
Monday, September 18th at 6:30 pm at Lorena Elementary School
Wednesday, October 11th at 6:30 pm at Lorena Primary School
Thursday, November 16th at 6:30 pm at Lorena Middle School
Monday, December 4th at 6:30 pm at Lorena High School
Additional meetings will be scheduled in the Spring of 2024.
