Monday Lorena ISD students and staff recognized Officer Peter Rivas and Officer Christina Serrato on National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. Both are School Resource Officers for LISD.
Students made homemade cards for Rivas and Serrato and staff members presented both with gifts.
Rivas became the first School Resource Officer for LISD in 2018. This is Serrato's first year as an SRO with LISD.
