Lorena ISD has a group of seven special people that make up the 2022-2023 School Board. This group works together to help LISD students and staff succeed.

Dr. Denny Kramer is the LISD School Board President. He has been on the school board since 2016. He was re-elected to the board in 2019 and 2022.

The longest serving member is Vice President Mary Timmons. She was elected to the school board in 1999 and has remained on the board winning elections in 2002, 2005, 2008, 2011, 2014, 2017 and 2020.

Dr. Kristi Humphreys is the LISD School Board Secretary. Her first year on the board was 2018. She was re-elected to the board in 2021.

David Busch has served on the school board since 2014. He was elected to remain on the board in 2017 and 2020.

Greg Hansen has been an LISD School Board member since 2015. He was re-elected to the board in 2018 and 2021.

Kevin Taylor and Russ Johnson were both elected to the school board in 2022.
