Lorena Seniors Lucas Ragsdale and Catalina Turner have been named School Winners in the Heisman High School Scholarship Competition by the Heisman Trophy Trust. They were selected from thousands of high school scholar-athletes from the class of 2023.

 

School Winners from across the country will now have a chance to become State Winners, National Finalists or National Winners. 

 

State winners will be announced on November 4 and recieive a $1,000 college scholarship. National Finalists will be announced on November 7 and are awarded a $2,000 college schloarship. The National Winners announcement will be made November 30. The male and female winners each receive a $10,000 college schloarship.
