The following students placed in the Veterans of Foreign Wars Voice of Democracy speech competition this year at Hewitt VFW Post 6008. They were honored at a ceremony on Tuesday night. This year's theme was: "America - Where Do We Go From Here?". Each student recorded a 3-5 minute speech on the topic.
The winners were as follows:
1st Place - Mackenzie Watson
2nd Place - Hannah Vasser
3rd Place - Kassidy Robinson
Mackenzie also placed second at the District Competition.
All 3 winners received certificates and scholarship money for their outstanding efforts!
