Most parents of Texas students are familiar with the state-based Academic Excellence Indicator System (AEIS) accountability system and reports. In addition to these state reports, school districts are required to post the No Child Left Behind Reports Cards. These reports are based upon federal-level accountability.
Section 1111(h)(2) of the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) requires each local education agency(LEA) that receives Title I, Part A funding to disseminate specific LEA and campus-level data. To meet this requirement, state level, district level, and campus specific statistics are provided.
