Lorena ISD Employment

In order to be considered for employment with Lorena ISD you must submit a completed application which includes uploading your resume and cover letter for all applications.  An application without these required documents will not be considered for employment.  Professional applicants and those applying for educational aide positions should also upload a copy of their college transcripts as an attachment on the application.
  
Individuals who do not hold a Texas teaching certificate must attach or submit their teaching certificate from their respective state with their application.  Out of State applicants will also need to have applied for credential review with the State Board of Educator Certification.

Interns seeking employment through Alternative Certification must attach their statement of eligibility from their teacher certification program entity.

Background and Criminal History Check

Under state law, Lorena ISD may obtain any criminal history record information pertaining to an applicant. The District may obtain such information from any law enforcement agency including a police department, the Department of Public Safety, the Texas Department of Corrections or similar out of state entities.
