Lorena ISD is proud to announce that April Jewell will be the new principal at Lorena Primary School beginning in the 2018-19 year. She succeeds Liza Cunningham who will be moving to Lorena Elementary to serve as the new principal there.

Mrs. Jewell has served in Central Texas public schools for the past 16 years. She has been assistant principal of Lorena Primary School for the past two years, was an assistant principal at Robinson ISD for 4 years prior to that, and has also worked in Connally ISD as both an assistant principal and teacher. Mrs. Jewell is looking forward to the opportunity to continue to serve LPS students and families in this new role!
